EuroParcs takes over Droomparken. What do I notice about this?

Every change always takes some getting used to. Fortunately, you as a guest will hardly notice that EuroParcs is taking over Droomparken. All external items that wore the Droomparken brand, such as signage, house number plates and flags, will change in the EuroParcs house style and logo. Other than that, nothing will change in the parks. However, from the beginning of 2022, the hotel services of Droomparken will disappear. This includes made beds, bath towels and small bottles with shower products.

If there is no summer evening opening at the Apenheul, what will our evening be like?

Your host will take you on an exclusive tour through the park after dinner.

I have not received a confirmation of the booking at the Apenheul Lodge, how is that possible?

Yes, this is possible. As a guest of the Apenheul Lodgje you can call the host on arrival at the telephone number stated on the confirmation. He or she can already take your luggage so that you can visit the park.

Can we add a baby cot/cot in the Apenheul Lodge?

Unfortunately the Apenheul Lodge does not have enough space to place a baby cot/cot.

Can I still walk through the Apenheul after closing time?

No, unfortunately this is not allowed. The host will take you on an exclusive tour through the park after closing time.

Can I pay with my credit card at the park?

Your booking is paid prior to your holiday. Payments that you make at the park itself after arrival, for example in the shop, in the restaurant or at the reception, can generally be paid with your credit card if there is a pin device available.

Do I have to pay a deposit if I rent a house?

An accident can happen at any time. That is why EuroParcs can request a deposit in advance from all guests who rent a holiday home. In the event of an accident, the damage can then be handled more easily. The deposit can amount to a minimum of € 100 per home. EuroParcs is at all times authorized to request an additional deposit upon arrival. After departure, the holiday homes or group accommodations are checked. If after check-out it appears that something is missing or broken, this will be deducted from your deposit. If everything is in order or there is a remaining amount, this will be refunded to your account within 3 weeks. You will receive an invoice in the event of damage or missing items. You can use this when dealing with your insurance.

How do I pay for my booking?

When booking online, you can pay right away with iDeal, mastercard and VISA. The following conditions apply to payment:

  • When booking more than 6 weeks before arrival you pay 30% of the amount right away and 6 weeks before arrival the remaining amount.

  • If you book within 6 weeks before arrival, you must pay the full amount online right away.

  • If no payment is made, you will receive a reminder from us and your reservation may be canceled if payment is not made.

Can I pay in terms? Or request deferment of payment?

It is not possible at EuroParcs to pay in terms or to request deferment of payment. For the payment the following conditions apply:

  • When you book more than 6 weeks before arrival, you pay 30% of the amount immediatelyvand 6 weeks before arrival the remaining amount.

  • If you book within 6 weeks before arrival, you must pay the full amount online right away.

  • If no payment is made, you will receive a reminder from us and your reservation may be canceled if payment is not made.

Can I pay on site?

You pay for your stay at EuroParcs in advance. This is possible with iDeal, mastercard and VISA when making your reservation. If you want to book extra items during your stay, such as bicycles or extra linen packages, you can of course pay on site (at the reception).

What should I do if payment for my reservation is unsuccessful?

If your payment via our standard payment methods does not work for any reason, it is always possible to transfer the amount manually to EuroParcs. The amount can be transferred to NL82RABO0317171313, with your reservation number as description or payment reference.

Where can I find important phone numbers during my stay?

All important (emergency) numbers can be found in your welcome booklet, which you will receive from reception when you check in.

Can I pay with my credit card at the park?

Your booking is paid prior to your holiday. Payments that you make at the park itself after arrival, for example in the shop, in the restaurant or at the reception, can generally be paid with your credit card if there is a pin device available.

Do I get a towel package with my stay?

On arrival, a towel package will be ready for you in your stay, if you have booked it. The towel package consists of one large and one small bath towel. You can always book an extra towel package at the reception during your stay.

Will I get a welcome pack (and what's in it)?

After you have checked in, you will receive a welcome pack from the reception. It contains the following useful items:

  • Dishcloth

  • Mop

  • Scouring pad

  • Matches

  • Dishwashing brush

  • Pedal bin bag

  • Garbage bag

  • Dishwashing liquid

  • Dishwasher tablets

Is bed linen available and what does it include?

Upon arrival, there will be a linen package in your accommodation. The linen package consists of a fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase for 1 person. You can always book an extra linen package at the reception during your stay.

Do I get a discount if I bring my own towels and bed linen?

You are always allowed to bring your own towels. It is not mandatory to purchase a towel package. You will not receive a discount if you bring your own towels. It is mandatory to purchase the linen package for bed linen. A discount on this is not possible. This is for hygienic reasons.

I have a complaint. Where can I go?

Do you have a complaint during your stay? Discuss your complaint with the reception, so that the employees at the park can resolve your complaint during your stay. Do you have a complaint after your stay? Please contact the Customer Contact Center for this. Our Service and Quality department will be happy to assist you.

Which TV channels can I watch in my accommodation?

This strongly depends on each home and holiday park. In general, you can watch the standard Dutch channels and a number of Belgian and German channels in your holiday home.

Can I enter and leave the park at any time of the day by car?

The parks that you are allowed to enter by car use a standard time period between 07:00 and 23:00. The barriers open during this period. Outside these times you can park your car in the general parking lot.

Can I be picked up by a taxi?

If you would like to be taken to a destination by a taxi, we can call a taxi for you at the reception. At EuroParcs Veluwemeer and EuroParcs Zuiderzee, we collaborate with a taxi exchange during events such as Lowlands and Defqon1, which take place at the Walibi festival site close to these holiday parks.

Can more people stay overnight during my stay that I did not mention during the booking?

Your visit can stay overnight if you report this to the reception in for extra bed linen and tourist tax. In addition, no more people may stay overnight than the maximum number of people for which the cottage is suitable. So, for example, if there are two of you staying in a four-person cottage, then two guests may stay overnight.

Can visitors come by during my stay?

Your visitors are most welcome in your holiday home at EuroParcs. They can park their car in the general car park before passing the barriers.

Can I barbecue?

Electric and gas barbecues are allowed at our holiday parks. Barbecuing with an open fire is not allowed.

Can I have meals or packages delivered to the holiday park?

It is allowed to have meals or packages delivered to the holiday park. The reception will take it for you. You are, however, responsible for the (on time) collection of the delivered packages or meals.

What is there to do in the surroundings of the park?

Before booking, you can already take a look at our website for the best sights in the surroundings of your EuroParcs holiday park. You can find this on the webpage of the park where you have booked. During check-in you will receive a welcome booklet with information about what to do in the area. You can of course also visit our reception to ask for information about the best trips in the area. They are happy to share the best tips with you!

Are fireworks allowed on the park?

In general, it is not allowed to set off fireworks at any EuroParcs holiday park. However, we cannot fully guarantee that this will not happen anywhere, as the holiday parks have no influence on what happens in the area. We do have some fireworks-free parks that enforce the setting of fireworks. These are EuroParcs Parc du Soleil, EuroParcs De Woudhoeve and EuroParcs Noordwijkse Duinen.

How can I see when I can swim?

I have received an e-mail from you and entered my details. When will I receive my corona voucher credit?

The remaining amount will be paid within 14 working days.

What do I have to do to receive the remaining amount on my corona voucher?

As soon as you have received your corona voucher from us, you can redeem this amount at one of our EuroParcs holiday parks within a year. If you have not yet had the opportunity to use the voucher within this year, it will be paid out one year after it was issued. You do not have to do anything yourself, we will contact you by e-mail.

Where can I find my corona voucher?

The moment your booking has been canceled due to the corona measures, you have received an e-mail from us in your mailbox. This contains the instructions on how to use the corona voucher.

What amount is on my corona voucher?

If you have not yet (partially) used your corona voucher, the amount is equal to the booking you made at the time. The booking and your corona voucher is linked to your reservation number. To find out what amount is (still) on your corona voucher, you can call our customer contact center on 088 070 80 90 or send an email to kcc@europarcs.nl. Please keep your reservation number ready.

Can someone else use my corona voucher?

The corona voucher is linked to your reservation number. This means that only the person who made the reservation can use the corona voucher. Transferring the corona voucher to someone else is therefore not possible.

How does the corona voucher work?

Due to the coronavirus outbreak and the consequences of the measures taken, many bookings at EuroParcs have been cancelled. If your booking has been canceled due to corona, you have received an e-mail from us in your mailbox. This contains instructions on how to use the corona voucher. The amount is equal to the amount of your booking and you can use this to make a new booking at EuroParcs within one year of receipt. If your booking costs more than the amount stated on your voucher, you will pay the remaining amount. If your booking costs less, the remaining amount will remain on your corona voucher. Any remaining balance is linked to your reservation number. Do you want to know what your remaining balance is or do you have other questions about the corona voucher? I booked a stay at an event near my park. This event has been moved or cancelled. What now?

We are sorry to hear that your event has been moved or cancelled. However, your planned event is separate from your EuroParcs booking. The cancellation conditions of EuroParcs apply to canceling or moving your stay. You can find these at https://www.europarcsresorts.com/terms-and-conditions. You can easily cancel or move your booking yourself via mijn.europarcs.nl.

Is there enough space in the parks to guarantee a distance of 1.5 meters?

In order to offer you a safe and pleasant stay, we at EuroParcs have done our best to guarantee you the 1.5 meters distance as best as possible. To this end, we have taken various actions, such as widening the walkways and working with reservations for various facilities. If a package or additional item is not (any longer) available, you will receive a refund of the overpaid amount.

How can I book additional guests?

You can easily book additional guests online via mijn.europarcs.nl.

Can I change the date of my booking? And until when can I rebook?

You can change the date of your reservation, for example because it does not suit you, or because you prefer to go on holiday in a different period. If you change your mind, you can change the date free of charge within 24 hours of your booking. If you booked more than 24 hours ago, we charge a €50 change fee. We will then discuss the options with you. For your modified booking you always pay at least the amount of the original reservation. Is the price of your new reservation higher than the original amount? Then you pay the difference in price.

The minimum age to make a booking at EuroParcs is 18 years old.

Can I indicate a preference during my booking?

If you have a preference for a particular holiday home, for example because of special facilities or because of a specific location, you can indicate this when booking. We will accommodate you as much as possible. Do you want to be guaranteed the holiday home that you prefer? Then you pay preferential costs. The amount for this is €35 per booking.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, your pet is welcome (on a leash) at all holiday parks. A maximum of 2 pets per holiday home are allowed. Pet-free homes are also available. You can indicate your preference when making your reservation. There is, however, a surcharge per pet per night. This will be displayed during your booking.

Can I also stay at your park for a longer period of time?

It is possible to stay in a EuroParcs holiday home for a longer period. This can be done, for example, when you are moving or renovating, or because of other circumstances. You can request this from our StayXL department. For more information and to submit a request for a long stay, visit www.stayxl.nl.

Can I book several houses next to each other?

At EuroParcs it is possible to book several houses next to each other. You can indicate the house number of your preference when making your booking. This costs €35 per booking. You do this for both reservations. You can view the house numbers on the map.

Can I book one or more holiday homes for a large group?

If you are looking for one or more houses for a large group, EuroParcs offers various options! You can think of a company trip, staff party, family weekend, festival visit, study weekend or sailing camp. For more information, please visit https://www.stayxl.nl/.

Until how long before my booking is it still possible to book cancellation insurance?

This depends on the provider of your cancellation insurance. Consult your insurance company for the conditions they apply for this. At the moment EuroParcs does not offer cancellation insurance with the bookings.

I cannot view my reservation in My EuroParcs, how is this possible?

This can have several causes. In many cases this occurs when a new loyalty card was created while you already had an account. No problem! Contact us and we will merge your duplicate account. We do need your reservation number and email address for this.

It says that my booking has not yet been validated, how is this possible?

Don't panic, this means the park has yet to check the reservation. The validation of your booking is then done automatically. This will be automatically adjusted again.

How can I change my booking if I have not booked with EuroParcs but with another travel organization?

If you have booked a holiday home at EuroParcs with another travel provider, cancel or change your booking with the relevant travel provider. This travel provider determines the conditions for changes to your booking.

My EuroParcs is not working. How is this possible?

This can have various causes. This usually occurs when a new customer card has been created while you already had an account. No problem! You can contact us and we will merge your duplicate account. We do need your reservation number and email address for this.

Is there (free) Wi-Fi?

Every EuroParcs holiday park and every accommodation has a Wi-Fi connection and can be used free of charge. Our parks are located in the middle of nature, so keep in mind that the speed and range may be less than you are used to at home. If you have problems logging in or have questions about the Wi-Fi connection, you can always contact the reception.

Can I rent bicycles at the park?

At many of our parks you can rent regular bicycles and children's bicycles. You can find out whether there is a bicycle rental service on the page of the park where you want to stay. You can also rent an e-chopper at many of our parks. For this you must be in possession of a valid driver's license.

Is there a launderette at the holiday park?

This differs per holiday park. You can find this at the facilities on the webpage and on the map of the park where you are staying.

Is the park supervised?

To make you feel as safe as possible during your stay, the park is supervised by the park management. In the event of an (emergency) situation, you can call the emergency number of the park. You will receive this number from the reception when you check in.

Are there charging points for electric cars?

Op sommige parken zijn oplaadpunten beschikbaar, maar niet bij alle parken. Wanneer er een oplaadpunt voor een elektrische auto aanwezig is op het park, staat dat aangegeven op de website bij de parkfaciliteiten.

Do you have accommodations for disabled people?

We have accommodations for disabled people and these are available on request. At a number of holiday parks, some accommodations are partially modified to fit the needs of disabled people. These accommodations have been made wheelchair accessible and have wide doors and a low entrance to the shower. Some accommodations also have a shower seat and rails near the toilet. There are two high-low beds on the ground floor. There is no stair lift available. Therefore, the first floor can only be reached by stairs.

At the Brunssummerheide holiday park, EuroParcs offers an accommodation for disabled people which is suitable for 10 people. This accommodation has a modified bathroom on the ground with, among other things, a shower stretcher and 2 more bathrooms on the first floor. Guide dogs are allowed in this property.

How can I see which accommodation allows pets?

When you add a pet to your travel group when making your booking, you will automatically only see the accommodations in which pets are allowed. This ensures that you can take your pet(s) with you to the park.

How does EuroParcs guarantee a hygienic holiday home?

Our cleaning team cleans with care and attention. If the hygiene of your holiday home does not meet your expectations, we ask you to report this to the reception. We kindly ask you to do this no later than 1 day after arrival, so that we can can solve the problem for you as quickly as possible and you have the best possible stay in the following days.

Is there an inventory of the holiday home?

The presence of an inventory list in the holiday home differs per park. There are parks that have this, but not all parks. When the inventory list is available, you can easily find it in the house.

Is there a freezer in the house?

What kind of sofa is there in the holiday home?
