The road to EuroParcs Resort De Koog takes either via the A7, where you turn off at Den Oever to Den Helder, or via the ring road around Alkmaar and the N9 to Den Helder. There you take the Teso ferry and you only have to drive towards De Cocksdorp: you will automatically pass the village of De Koog and the holiday park.
EuroParcs Resort De Koog is located close to the famous Texel beaches, which give its own dimension to a "sun, beach and sea holiday. It is therefore also close to the boats that sail out to spot seals in either the North Sea or the Wadden Sea. The holiday park is located even closer to the famous De Slufter nature reserve, where you not only have a beautiful view of the salt marshes, but you can also walk through them. The surroundings of the nearby lighthouse of De Cocksdorp are also beautiful. Texel also has many regional products, of which mutton and beer are the best known, so a visit to the Texel brewery is highly recommended. Furthermore, De Koog itself, with its large shopping and catering base, is cozy and lively in high season. You should also not miss the pleasant harbor of Oudeschild, as well as the center of Den Burg with its many shops and café-restaurants.
