EuroParcs’ latest addition, Resort De Kraaijenbergse Plassen, set to open its doors in June 2020

All roads lead to Cuijk. The Romans surely knew this, and they turned the region into an important hub in their road network. The also built a fortress and a bridge across the Meuse river. Fast-forward to present day and this leading region in the north east of Brabant has become a tourist hotspot. And Resort De Kraaijenbergse Plassen near Land van Cuijk, the newest EuroParcs holiday resort, has everything families want from a holiday resort, including bathing water and natural water right by the resort, and the Meuse river just a stone’s throw away. The resort is set to open its doors in June 2020, but you can already book your holiday today!

The resort has its very own marina directly connected with the Meuse and Cuijk. As such, the resort is also accessible by boat. Experience the surrounding nature, including the famous Maasheggen landscape and the Meuse dikes, which are true gems. The region is also known for its fortresses and castles, many of which date back further than any other historical hotspot in the Netherlands. This stature goes hand in hand with the title of “Brabant's best” thanks to the much-loved hotels, cafés and restaurants in Cuijk, Boxmeer, Nijmegen of course and beyond.

Water, nature... and the historical awareness that this is the cradle of Dutch civilisation. This area has it all! It therefore comes as no surprise that many Dutch holiday makers are keen to spend time at Resort De Kraaijenbergse Plassen, to learn about the area’s rich history while thoroughly enjoying themselves. This unique combination gives the resort a very special touch. The resort is also the only one in the area located on the water’s edge, near Cuijk. It’s the place to be for a holiday to remember!

Kraaijenbergse Plassen is surrounded by Land van Cuijk, an appealing cycling and hiking area that crosses picturesque natural gems and rustic villages. But there’s more... This is your chance to explore the seven large natural and recreational lakes that cover an impressive 400 hectares around the resort. And if you’re keen on shopping or visiting a more urban environment, you can head to Cuijk, with its cosy centre, just an 11-minute drive (6.5 km) from the resort. For more history and shopping fun, Nijmegen is also just a 23-minute drive away (25.3 km)! The resort is made up of a main building with a restaurant, a luxurious snack bar, a lounge area, a pub and a terrace. But what makes it truly unique is that it was built around a 16th-century farm.
